We often hold preconceived expectations and assumptions about how we are going to make the transition back into the workplace, particularly the prejudices that people might hold against us potentially asking about working from home. Often this involves challenging perceptions and bias from our peers.
Always remember that good enough IS good enough – all you can so is your best. Don’t be a martyr and cut yourself some slack. Delegate at work and at home and don’t drop to your knees.
Having it all doesn’t mean have everything you want but the same career, family and life choices as men.
Ensure you make links and connections both at home and in the workplace. We are all together to support one another. This also includes equality of responsibility, like sharing household chores and caring commitments.
